A person or a manager can publish a Task as an assignment to track a small task group, an individual project or a learning task. 


An assignment essentially consists of tasks and expectations that can later be assessed by the manager (or assessor). For each of the expectations in the assignment a person may receive a Thumbs Up, OK, or a Strike. 


An expectation may be left unrated too. When a competency tag is put against an expectation, then the rating gets accumulated in the Competencies Tab for that expectation. If there is no competency tag, the rating does not get aggregated outside of the assignment.


Besides rating for each competency, the overall assignment is also assessed by manager by clicking on “Assess Assignment”. If the overall rating is Outstanding or Excellent, a post with special comment can be made by manager on the Newsfeed.
