Rollout, Oversight and Management best practices:

  • Have a lead person who oversees all of Talentrio setup, rollout and usage. This person should be someone who takes ownership of your people processes
  • Create small circle of Talentrio champions or igniters who become the Go-To people in groups
  • Talentrio champions should meet periodically to share their ideas, get help and overall ensure that your organization is leveraging Talentrio the best possible way

Talentrio is not about one small process. It is about changing the culture and that needs persistent focus, engagement and nurturing.

Great leaders always lead by example, this works when it comes to creating a culture of Appreciation, high frequency feedback and growth too!

Here are some best practices for senior leaders to leverage Talentrio’s power to create a strong culture of of teamwork and performance.

  • Appreciate often and use all your stars each week! You should feel that the star limit is too small for you as a leader!
  • Use Thumbs up to clearly recognize specific competencies in people – now, here you have no limit, so go liberal but stay specific and real
  • As a senior leader you may not manage your reportees using assignments, so make it a point to use “Give Feedback” option to give period comprehensive feedback to your reportees. This tells them that you are placing importance on feedback – they will too then!
  • Figure out ways in which information generated in Talentrio can be “used/applied” in rewards and recognition, reviews, raises, and promotions
  • Align competency tags to your performance management language and forms
