Roles Tab shows you the various roles in the Groups that you are part of. You can see the Competencies expected in those roles and how you are already doing against those competencies. Talentrio DOES NOT connect a person to a role but to group(s) that contain various roles. This way, a person has visibility into all the roles in their group.
